Hello world, my name is Dave, I live in the wilds of Lincolnshire, uk, right next to the north sea. I have numerous interests including steam engines, steam models, motorcycles, model aircraft, hot rods and basically anything that works. This blog will follow my escapades and chart my progress and failures.
My current projects are car and motorcycle related - the car project is a 1951 Ford Prefect that I felt needed a Rover v8 engine transplanting in to it, I am also working on a few motorcycles, namely a a1983 Honda Magna v45, Yamaha FZR600 Genesis, a Yamaha YZF600 Thundercat and a Triumph TT600.
i have built several cars and numerous motorcycles over the years, my current collection includes a Honda GL1100 based trike, a Kawasaki GPZ1100 based chopper that's loud enough to wake the dead, a part built 1951 Ford Prefect V8 hot rod and my daily driver - a 4.5 litre v8 twin turbo charged Porsche Cayenne
